Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. From your first inquiry to your final gallery, you’ll be supported every step of the way so you can feel present, confident, and fully immersed in your day. When you look back years from now, you should see yourselves, not just a perfectly styled event.

Your wedding day should feel grounded, easygoing & intentional. From the moment you step into your dress to the quiet moments after the reception fades, you’ll feel supported by a calm, steady presence who is always paying attention, but never overwhelming the space.

The Wedding Process
STEP 01
Fill out the inquiry form
After you take a look at my website, & deicide you'd love to book me as your photographer, you'll fill out the inquiry form using the button below. Once you inquire & schedule your consult call, I will be in touch shortly to check in & confirm that call. This will be a no pressure call to get to know each other & help me understand what your dream wedding day looks like.
STEP 02
Get to know each other
During your consult call, we will take the time to get to know you & your fiancé, hear all about your wedding day vision & talk through what your wedding day can feel like when booking Alyssa Denson Photography.
Being able to really know who you are & what is most important to you is vital to the success of your wedding day. After this consult call, I will send over thoughtfully created draft timelines & a draft contract & invoice for you to review. Once we finalize your wedding photography package, you will sign a contract & officially be booked.
STEP 03
Engagement session
Once you're fully booked, we'll get your engagement session scheduled. I encourage you to view your session as a little date night & a moment to really relish in how far you've come as a couple. This will also be your moment to get comfortable being in front of the camera, let me get to know you just a little bit more & what it feels like to be posed & prompted. When your wedding day comes, we'll be comfortable with each other & ready to create a work of art out of your story.
STEP 04
Bridal session
If you chose to add on a bridal session, we will schedule your session for six to eight weeks from your wedding day. This session can take place at your venue or another chosen location of your choice. I will send over location recommendations based on your desired vibe & overall look. About two-three weeks after your bridal session, you'll receive the online gallery link to get your images printed for the big day.
STEP 05
Preparing for the big day
To have a successful wedding day, it's all about the preparation & knowledge. From booking to your big day, I'll be in touch to help with timeline creation, what photos are important, how you want the day to feel & more. About 30 days out, you will receive a questionnaire about vendors, important moments, family dynamics & more. Once the questionnaire is filled out, we will schedule a call to discuss the timeline & information shared.
STEP 06
Your wedding day
Your wedding day is here!! All of the planning & prep will be worth it & your day will be full of warm & joyous memories. My biggest goal is to approach your day with a calm presence & intentional observation while making sure you feel celebrated along the way. I want you to be able to fully live in the moment knowing each sentimental memory is being captured for you to treasure forever. Your wedding day is all about celebrating a beautiful start to you & your partner's story!!
STEP 07
Gallery Delivery
Within 24-72 hours after your wedding day, you can expect to receive a sneak peek gallery of 20-30 images thoughtfully curated with meaningful memories captured throughout your big day. Your final gallery will be delivered within 6-8 weeks after your wedding day. Upon gallery delivery, I will run through the best methods for printing & storing your images, download suggestions, & start the selection process for any print add ons. If an album was added on to your final package, I will create a draft for you to review before sending off for the final print. This is where those heirloom items get created!
The Legacy Collection
Designed for a relaxed & spacious wedding day. This collection will allow you to be fully present while every meaningful moment is thoughtfully preserved. This collection includes:

- An engagement session to document this sweet season
- A bridal session for those timeless portraits

Why should I hire a professional photographer?
Your wedding day happens once & it moves quickly. Hiring a professional ensures every meaningful moment is preserved with intention, experience, and care.Beyond beautiful images, you’re investing in a calm, prepared presence who understands lighting, timelines, family dynamics, and how to guide naturally without disrupting the flow of your day.
How many images are included in our package?
Wedding galleries can range from 700-1500 images in final delivery. This numbers depend on length of coverage, events occurring during your wedding day and & how you want the day to feel. If you'd like an accurate estimate for your specific wedding day, we can discuss this during your consult call.
What is required to officially secure out date?
In order to secure your date on our calendar, you will pay an initial deposit & sign the contract. The initial deposit amount varies based on the package selection. This is something we will chat about during our initial consult call.
What is the cancellation or rescheduling policy?
To reschedule your wedding day, Alyssa Denson Photography needs to be notified via email at least 6 months prior to your big day to ensure availability & staffing for second photographers. If you decide to cancel your wedding day, we need to be notified 6 months prior in writing. Options will be discussed via email.
What is your turnaround time for gallery delivery?
You can expect to receive a sneak peek gallery of 20-30 hand selected images within 24-72 hours of your wedding day. Your final gallery will be delivered within 6-8 weeks of your wedding day. This gallery is thoughtfully curated & edited by hand making sure every image is top quality.
Do you backup or secure images for protection?
Alyssa Denson Photography implements a comprehensive backup system to safeguard your images. After each wedding, your photos are securely copied to two separate hard drives, a cloud service and all images remain on the original SD card until your gallery is delivered.
Can you help with timelines?
Absolutely! You will receive a draft timeline following our consult call to give you a glimpse into what your wedding day coverage will look like. Each timeline is thoughtfully created with natural light, sunset & each meaningful moment in mind. I want you to make the most of your day!
Is the retainer refundable?
The retainer is non-refundable and is required to secure your wedding date on my calendar. This payment ensures your booking is prioritized, preventing other opportunities from being accepted for the same date. I take on a limited number of weddings each season to give every couple my full presence and care.
